Meet your groomer

Allie

Cat and dog groomer & founder
Allie was born, grew up and lived till early 20’s in a small town in Kazakhstan. She has been passionate about animals since she was a kid – she had cats, birds, dogs, rodents – you name it!
Allie learned about a pet grooming career while still living in her home country and loved that you can closely work with pets, make them look beautiful and comfortable, and express artistic ability at the same time. Determined to find out more about grooming and possibly learn this skill, she flew to New York to study English and pursue a career working with animals in 2011.
Allie is mostly a self-taught groomer. She started as an apprentice in March 2012 and eventually groomed her first start-to-finish dog in December of that same year. In the years that followed she went to groom in the salons in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and the city, watching other groomers and learning tricks and techniques of the profession.
In 2017-2019 Allie took private classes with a star of the grooming industry Irina Pinkusevich in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, learning show bichon frise cut, Asian fusion techniques and the art of hand stripping. It has immensely improved her skills and confidence.
Allie left her salon job and started exclusively offering house call grooming service in May 2017 and has been successful ever since.
She owns two wonderful cats, a domestic shorthair and an oriental shorthair.
Altogether, Allie has more than a decade of experience grooming pets. She now has a very limited availability for new dog clients and mostly offers in-home cat grooming services.

Why choose grooming your dog at home?

A dog is more comfortable in the safety of their own home, especially if they are shy or scared to be around other animals. Salon atmosphere is too stressful for both groomers and pets

Quiet comparing to the salon (other dogs barking and whining; dryers blowing; other people coming and going)

Your pet doesn’t have to wait long hours for its turn to be groomed in the assembly line process

Your pet gets our undivided attention and doesn’t have to be rushed through the grooming process

No cages are used

You don’t need to make trips to and from the salon to drop off and then pick up your pet
